Serial CA8D037 - Finished Sept '08. Flame Robusta Eucalyptus on one piece Mahogany - Custom Lefty 'T' with switchable stereo output for each pickup.
This is the second Onyx Forge custom for Peter Wennö in Sweden. His first custom was C22 - a
Quilted Maple Stereo Mag / Piezo Jag.

BODY: Hand made at Onyx Forge - Thin body Deluxe 'T', bookmatched flame Robusta Eucalyptus
on one piece Honduran Mahogany - Semi chambered with "F" hole; belly contour;
Bigsby B5 (American) lefty vibrato; locking roller bridge; custom control layout, Naturalburst
face and back with undyed binding stripe under gloss nitrocellulose lacquer;
custom pickguard made of rare spalted burl Maple under satin nitro; Dunlop Straploks;
recessed Electrosocket stereo jack; polished 18-8 stainless steel screws throughout;
rear loaded volume / tone controls, Ebony dome knobs; Robusta Eucalyptus control
cover; custom Ebony pickup mounting ring under satin nitro.
NECK: Hand made at Onyx Forge - Quilted Maple; 13 degree tilt 6/side O. Forge
"Vintage" headstock; Robusta Eucalyptus head plate with undyed binding stripe to match body;
Ebony fretboard with custom Playing Card inlays in white Mother of Pearl
and Bloodwood; custom Ebony truss rod cover under satin nitro, white Mother of Pearl
Onyx Forge logo; Paua Abalone side markers; 14" radius fretboard; 25.5" scale; custom
thin profile with rolled edges; Grover locking 18:1 tuning machines; 22 medium
jumbo stainless steel frets; recessed and filled fret slot ends; zinc alloy threaded
inserts for strength and outstanding sustain; dual carbon fiber reinforcing rods;
double action truss rod; 1 11/16" nut width; custom laminated Graphtech & brass
alloy 260 nut; dark amber under gloss nitrocellose lacquer.
ELECTRONICS: Loaded with a Gemini "Vampire Lord" asymmetrically wound humbucker
in the neck (when split to single coil mode, the output is similar to a hot single
coil), Rio Grande "Crunchbox" in the bridge; both splittable to single coil mode
via push / pull volume knobs; dedicated independent volume and tone controls for
each PUP routed through push / pull tone knobs that when pulled, route that pickup's
output to channel "B" for stereo. 2 - way mini switch de-phases neck & bridge
pickups; grounded conducting paint in all control cavities
for noise mitigation. This configuration can be used with either a standard guitar
cord, or a stereo 'Y' cord to route the signals to either 2 channels or separate
amps.
