BODY: Hand made at Onyx Forge - Flame Koa drop top on one piece Honduran Mahogany blank; comfort belly contour; Naturalburst front and back under gloss nitrocellulose lacquer; custom O. Forge Spalted Maple PUP rings under satin nitro; rear loaded controls; sculpted heel with recessed chrome screw ferrules; Dunlop recessed Straploks; custom Maple Burl control plate shot to match fretboard; recessed Electrosocket jack; polished 18-8 stainless steel screws throughout; Tigerwood dome knobs.

NECK: Hand made at Onyx Forge - 13 degree tilt 6/side modern O. Forge headstock; 5A Quilted Maple fretboard on Cocobolo; Quilted Maple truss rod cover, custom "Honey" fretboard and truss rod cover with the balance natural under gloss nitrocellulose lacquer; black Mother of Pearl side markers; Paua Abalone fret markers; white Mother of Pearl Onyx Forge logo; 12" radius fretboard; 25" scale; Wizard profile with rolled edges; Grover locking 18:1 tuning machines; 22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets; zinc alloy threaded inserts for strength and outstanding sustain; double action truss rod; 1 11/16" nut width; custom laminated Graphtech & nickel alloy nut.

ELECTRONICS: Loaded with both magnetic and piezo pickups with a 3-way mini selector that isolates or mixes each output in stereo or mono.

  • MAGNETICS: Asymmetrically wound Gemini Vampire humbuckers routed through a balance / blend pot, push / pull master volume and tone controls that split each pickup independently for a true single coil sound; 2 way mini for de-phasing the neck pickup to the bridge pickup and / or piezo bridge. These pickups perform as promised by Mike Rose of Gemini Pickups (U.K.) - when split, they sound very close to a Strat single coil. Unsplit, they're a bit more mellow with plenty of drive.
  • PIEZO: L. R. Baggs T Bridge and Control X preamp. Includes a stereo / mono output switch accessible from the front of the guitar. The Control X unit allows blending of the piezo / magnetic pickups and utilizes one master volume control for all mono output. When in the stereo mode, the master volume controls the mags, the Control X pot controls the piezo volume.
