SPECIFICATIONS:

BODY: Hand made at Onyx Forge - Custom Bookmatched Flame Koa drop top on a one piece Honduran Mahogany body. All natural under gloss nitrocellulose lacquer; custom belly contour; rounded perimeter; sculpted heel; thick body; Dunlop recessed Straploks; recessed Electrosocket jack; all screws polished 18-8 stainless steel; Ebony dome knobs; custom Macassar Ebony pickguard under satin nitro, custom Macassar Ebony control cover under gloss nitro.

NECK: Hand made at Onyx Forge - Top grade Ebony fretboard on Australian Blackwood. Natural under gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. Paua Abalone side markers and Onyx Forge logo; Ebony truss rod cover; 12" radius fretboard; 28.6" scale; "C" profile with rolled edges; Grover locking 18:1 tuning machines; 22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets; zinc alloy threaded inserts for strength and outstanding sustain; double action truss rod; 1 11/16" nut width; custom laminated Graphtech & brass alloy nut.

ELECTRONICS: Loaded with both magnetic and piezo pickups with a 3-way mini selector that isolates or mixes each output in stereo or mono.

  • MAGNETICS: Gibson Burstbucker 2 in the neck and Burstbucker 3 at the bridge routed through a unique balance / blend pot, master volume and tone controls.
  • PIEZO: L. R. Baggs T Bridge and Control X preamp. Includes a stereo / mono output switch accessible from the front of the guitar. The Control X unit allows blending of the piezo / magnetic pickups and utilizes one master volume control for all output. Since each string saddle has its own piezo pickup and lead, this guitar can be modified for full hexaphonic output.

    OTHER STUFF: Custom Unitec "Elite" ATA rated case made to fit this instrument, as well as a stereo to split mono cord. When in the stereo mode, piezo and mags will be fed into separate channels or amps.
