Serial CA7D027 - COMMISSIONED Custom Single Cutaway - This custom is based
on a Spalted Maple single cutaway that was finished in January '06 (C07). This is a bit
larger body, and is based on the old Gibson Florentine. Finished Sept.'07.

BODY: Hand made at Onyx Forge - Custom single cutaway, AAAA Bookmatched Spalted Maple
carve top on Northern Ash. Natural to "Blackburst" front, translucent black back,
undyed binding stripe under gloss nitrocellulose lacquer; custom belly contour;
sculpted heel; black hardware; Wilkinson trem; recessed trem cover; Dunlop
Straploks; recessed Electrosocket jack; black metal bell knobs with Paua Abalone
caps.
NECK: Hand made at Onyx Forge - Top grade Ebony fretboard with custom "Split Block"
markers in white Mother of Pearl and Paua Abalone; custom matching truss rod cover;
Curly Maple neck in translucent black. Spalted Maple head plate shot to match the
body, including an undyed binding stripe around the top edge. Gloss nitrocellulose
lacquer; 10" radius fretboard; 24.75" scale; "C" profile with rolled edges;
Steinberger 40:1 precision tuners; stainless steel medium jumbo frets; Paua Abalone
side dots; zinc alloy threaded inserts for strength and outstanding sustain; Abalone
Onyx Forge logo on headstock; double action truss rod; 1 11/16" nut width; custom
laminated Graphtech & brass alloy nut.
ELECTRONICS:
6-way rotary with custom switching for the Strat Vintage Noiselss PUPS, including
all 3 pickups on. Master volume and tone; all interior wiring channels and cavities
coated with grounded conducting paint to eliminate unwanted RF interference.
