BODY: Hand made at Onyx Forge - Spalted Maple top selected by the customer on Honduran Mahogany. All natural under gloss nitrocellulose lacquer; sculpted heel; belly contour; hand made Macassar Ebony pickup rings under satin nitro; recessed Dunlop Straplocks; Macassar Ebony control knobs; polished 18-8 stainless steel screws throughout. The customer had seen another style of guitar with the rounded edges and requested the same treatment. We're both very happy with the results.

NECK: Hand made at Onyx Forge - bolt neck; customer designed 3 / side headstock; Macassar Ebony fretboard with special Paua Abalone crosses; hand selected Spalted Maple head plate; light amber aniline dye on back of neck and headstock only; gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish; 25.5" scale; "C" profile with rolled edges; zinc alloy threaded inserts for strength and outstanding sustain; 22 med. jumbo stainless steel frets; Paua Abalone side marker dots; Paua Abalone Onyx Forge logo on headstock; Grover locking machines; double action truss rod; 1 11/16" nut width; custom laminated bone & brass alloy nut; Macassar Ebony truss rod cover under satin nitro; all 18-8 polished stainless steel screws.

ELECTRONICS: Loaded with Gibson Tony Iommi signature humbuckers routed through a unique balance / blend pot, master volume and tone controls. The volume and tone pots are push / pulls that split a dedicated pickup when pulled for mixed, full single or double coil sound. Pickup and contol cavities, wiring channels and back of control cover are coated with grounded conducting paint for unwanted radio frequency noise suppression. Vintage cloth insulated wiring is used on the controls to allow a single unbroken wire core to be threaded through 3 or more terminals for trouble free operation.
