pickguard; 3 color Amberburst aniline dye under nitrocellulose lacquer; gold hardware;
recessed Electrosocket jack cup; recessed vintage string ferrules; gold bridge
with individually adjustable saddles.
NECK: Hand made at Onyx Forge - Birdseye Maple fretboard on Birdseye Maple; 25.5"
scale; thin "C" profile; rolled edges; zinc alloy threaded inserts for strength and outstanding
sustain; 22 med. jumbo frets; Paua Abalone fret dots with black
Mother of Pearl at the 12th fret; Paua Abalone Onyx Forge logo; Grover locking tuners;
double action truss rod; 1 11/16" nut width; custom laminated bone / brass alloy nut.
ELECTRONICS: American Vintage '50s Fender bridge pickup as used by the Custom Shop;
Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates with gold plated nickel cover in the
neck position; 5 way blade switch allows all variations of full and split humbucker /
bridge pickup.
